I've been so lucky to have a the very gorgeous Sophie helping me in the studio for the past few months and what better day than to celebrate this beautiful girl than today - her birthday! I'm so excited to introduce you to this wonderful creative lady.

1. When you're not in RUUSK Studio, what do you do with your time?

I'm either experimenting with photography and writing (on my own little blog dearfolk), studying to finish university (graduating in November, yay!), working the nights away in a bar/restaurant, or travelling whenever I can!

2. Your favourite RUUSK piece?

I've always adored the classic Signet Ring but ever since Tania designed the Moon Rising Sapphire Ring I've been obsessed! Not to mention my own gorgeous Square Ring which of course is my absolute favourite.

3. What's on your bedside table?

My bedside table is my little happy place. I have a growing crystal collection, way too many candles and a ceramic diffuser from the Goodnight Co, which I turn on each night with a few drops of lavender oil to make everything smell dreamy.
I also have a large book collection which currently features The Alchemist by Paul Coelho and The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy.

4. Favourite small brand?

Apart from RUUSK, one of my favourites is Pottery for the Planet, their little ceramic coffee cups are adorable. I'm not sure they classify as small, but Arthur Apparel  and Yoli & Otis both have beautiful pieces, and they're ethical and environmentally sustainable!

5. What's cooking in your kitchen lately?

I'm always attempting to recreate my mum's pumpkin soup; without fail it never turns out like hers... But I did make a delicious version of warm pumpkin and buckwheat noodle salad by The Beauty Chef which seems to have curbed some winter cravings.

6. Currently dreaming of?

Sitting on a beach in the French Riviera, sipping wine and eating cheese, or wandering the streets of Lisbon eating pastel de nata...
