Each RUUSK piece begins as a wax carving or sketch before being lovingly handcrafted using a blend of traditional and modern techniques. Our team of skilled local jewellers, engravers, and stone setters bring these designs to life, ensuring every detail is considered. Each piece is carefully checked in our Sydney Studio, before being lovingly boxed, ready for our customers.
We work exclusively with solid 9ct, 14ct, and 18ct gold or platinum - never gold-plated or filled. We choose quality materials that will stand the test of time. Our metals are locally recycled and refined, aligning with our commitment to sustainability. Our gemstones are sourced with care, featuring conflict-free natural diamonds, lab diamonds, and locally sourced Australian sapphires. Other stone options are available upon request.

In 2025 Mary (Mimi) took ownership of the brand, drawn to its values and the community it had already begun building. A lawyer turned designer with a deep personal connection to heirloom craft, she brought with her a vision for what RUUSK could become: a brand where every piece holds a story, and where the experience of choosing it is as considered as the piece itself.

A NIGHT WITH RUUSK
Last week, we officially opened the doors to our new RUUSK Sydney studio for an evening of conversation and connection, as guests explored our collections, discovered new pieces, and experienced the world of RUUSK in person.We are so grateful to everyone who joined us to celebrate this special milestone. Sharing our new home and the pieces we've so thoughtfully created made for an evening we'll cherish for years to come. “We wanted the evening to feel less like an event and more like an invitation into our world, warm and personal. Seeing the studio come to life in that way was incredibly special. We cannot wait to welcome more guests into our new home soon.” The Jewellery Menu: What We Served Jewellery was firmly on the menu for the evening. Alongside seasonal bites and flowing drinks, guests were invited to discover some of our most-loved designs and stone options, presented on roaming serving trays – a playful meeting of hospitality and heirlooms. From delicate solitaires to sculptural statements, each piece offered a chance to experience the collection up close, sparking conversations, stories, and future chapters to be celebrated. “This studio represents so much more than a physical space. It's where stories begin, where meaningful pieces are discovered, and where we can connect with our community in a more personal way than ever before." Wax models allow us to assess each piece in three dimension, making minute adjustments to proportions, balance and scale. Only then is each piece handcrafted in solid gold. All of our suppliers and jewellers are local, allowing us to remain connected to every stage of production, ensuring every engagement ring is created to the exacting standards we believe a forever piece deserves.
