On this week's blog post we asked Sherridan to share the story behind her special Signet rings that we created in honour of her grandmother.
What prompted you to have your special Signet rings created?
When my grandmother passed she left the girls and I some money. We used to have a signet ring in our family, but unfortunately, it no longer sits in the family. I thought it would be very special to introduce another signet ring which meant the absolute world to my grandfather and family.
How do your rings speak to motherhood and family for you specifically?
I just love that I have my Grandmother's initials on our rings. She was such a beautiful, funny, kind, and strong women. To share her memory, qualities & bond with my girls throughout our lives through a signet ring just seemed so special and fitting. It gives me goosebumps thinking about the women who will wear these rings in our family in generations to come, especially my girls. My beautiful Grandmother, she was truly the greatest women. I miss her so much.
How did you find the experience of creating your personalised family heirlooms?
Absolutely beautiful. To have Tania make such special pieces for the girls and I was everything and more, it was perfect. She really felt my love and loss and I just know how much love these rings were made in. It was the perfect experience. Thank you!
